03.12.19—20:00    MIRY ENSEMBLE: Odysseia Ensemble MIRY Concertzaal concert

Timbre is the musical parameter that inspired early 20th-century French tone poets, with radical genius Claude Debussy at the fore. In Flanders, this heritage still resonates. The pallets of composers Frederik Neyrinck and Annelies Van Parys include hints of blue, white and red from yesteryear. With a series of echoes, Neyrinck recalls illustrious forebears. Van Parys (nomen est omen) is known for her timbral finesse.
