On Monday, March 13th the exhibition 'Learn, innovate and internationalize’ takes place during the VLHORA congress in the Flemish Parliament. VLHORA is the umbrella organization of the Flemish University Colleges. The exhibition in the Zuilenzaal shows five works by students, former students and a teacher / researcher from the course of study media art within the program of visual arts KASK / School of Arts Ghent.
Henry Andersen, Emi Kodama, Lieselot Everaert, Inge van den Kroonenberg and Jerry Galle reconcile the paradox between ‘being’ and ‘becoming’, each on their own way. Visitors to the congress will notice a software rewriting existing and self-written texts (Jerry Galle, 'Pretext'), a window transformed in a speaker that procreates a composition of crackling sounds of breaking ice (Inge van den Kroonenberg, ‘Verre’) and they will taste Baci chocolates with quotes using the word ‘elsewhere’ (Henry Andersen, ‘Every Possible Elsewhere’).
