Prospective students for the Music, Drama, Audio-Visual, and Visual Arts programmes are required to take an entrance test. You can only enroll after passing these. For the other programmes we advise you to check under the ‘admission requirements’ heading.
If you wish to enroll in a programme you must register in advance. Before presenting yourself at the student office you must have completed the online registration form correctly. This preliminary registration makes the actual enrolment procedure go a lot smoother. The registration form is available every year by the end of November.
Note: Candidates who have already registered for an entrance test and wish to enroll definitively after passing the test are no longer required to complete the preliminary registration and can skip this step. If you were a student at any of University College Ghent’s faculties in the past years you are also not required to pre-register.
Enrolment process is now completely digital
Students who have registered before June 27 for a professional bachelor's programme will receive an email with explanations and an invitation to complete their study programme application and finalize their registration. Students who register for a professional bachelor's programme after 27 June can immediately complete their study programme application. As soon as all registration requirements have been met, your application for registration will be processed digitally. You will be informed of the state of affairs by e-mail.
Students who have participated in an admission test and have passed, will receive an automatic e-mail with an explanation on how to complete their study programme application (SPA) and finalize their enrolment.
In a next step, the student administration will check whether you meet all the enrolment requirements and whether
certain documents or data are missing.
If documents or data are missing, you will be notified by e-mail to upload certain items via webreg.hogent.be. There you can log in and change your web registration.

Do you still have a lot of questions or would you absolutely like to finalize your registration on campus in person? If so, you can always make a personal appointment with one of our student's office staff members. You can make an appointment via paullamont.youcanbook.me.
After we have received your request for an appointment, we will send you the further practical guidelines for registering on campus.
All the documents and information you need - e.g. registration receipts for public transport etc. - will be sent electronically. The invoice for the tuition fee will be sent by post. The invoice for the tuition fee will be sent by mail.
Student cards will be collected at the student's office during the academic year 2020-21 after signing the study programme application in Ibamaflex (E-Postbus).

Start of the academic year
In the period from 14 to 25 September, KASK & Conservatorium organises its welcome activities for new students! You will receive further information about this welcome week by e-mail and you will be able to consult it on the website. The lessons themselves will start on Monday 28 September 2020.
